JERRY JOHNSON

I am honored to introduce myself, Jerry Johnson, a Montanan with deep roots in our great state. Born in Glasgow and raised in West Yellowstone, I am proud to call Montana my home and to embody its values.

I am grateful for the opportunity to represent our district in the upcoming legislative session and to serve you with integrity, common sense, and a commitment to the well-being of our community.

My extensive experience in public service includes 24 years on the West Yellowstone town council and as Mayor, during which I have worked tirelessly to address the needs of our community and to collaborate with various agencies to protect our historic properties, ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, and secure land for current and future housing needs.

I have also worked closely with the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Interior to advocate for increased access to Yellowstone National Park during the winter months and to support the interests of all visitors.

As a Montana small business owner since 1989, I understand the challenges and opportunities faced by our communities and am dedicated to finding common-sense solutions that will benefit our district and our state as a whole.

I am proud to have raised two children in West Yellowstone and to be the proud grandfather of the fifth generation of Montanans. I look forward to working for you in Helena and to earning your vote.
